Gastric Peptide

Gastric Peptide

A peptide derived from or active in the gastrointestinal tract. BPC-157 is the most well-known example — a 15-amino-acid peptide derived from a protective protein in human gastric juice. Gastric peptides are studied for gut healing, tissue repair, and anti-inflammatory effects, with some showing activity beyond the GI tract.
